I will probably spend more on something a little more tried and true.

Functional camera, more or less. The idea that you could view and control the camera from anywhere is a nice thought, that this camera sometimes delivers.

I found the interfaces (mobile and desktop) to be clunky and buggy. So much so- that after over a year of progressively more issues, I finally gave up on it.

Wouldnt connect after a day

I hoped installing the updated firmware would help, but it made no difference, The longest it lasted was about 24 hours.

Seems solid and well constructed. Image quality was good. Install was easier than I expected.

Had called Trendnet support before purchasing to verify only thing needed was an Internet connection and no port forwarding or ddns were needed to control the camera and stream video, was told only thing needed was an Internet connection. The ‘cloud'...

Easy setup, great image, quick ship, easy to use remote/phone app

Requires DDNS to control remotely. Incorrect information from telephone support. No response from online case opened with Trendnet support
