The camera kept dropping off the network within minutes after start-up. Finally got the camera to stay on and started the Firmware upgrade recommended by other reviews. The Firmware ran for over 17 hours only to say it timed out. Tried to upgrade again...

Wonderful camera, I have been using these for over a year on with open source surveillance software for Linux. These cameras do a great job and the lens is easy to upgrade with cctv lenses.

Image quality is ok for this price range, as others have said the field of view is kind of narrow if camera is in a small room. I replaced the 6mm lens with a 2.8mm wide-angle lens. You will need a 1.5mm hex wrench when changing the lens ; I downloaded...

one small con, if you schedule the IPView software to record during certain hours, for example Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, the IPview software will continue to stream data from the camera even after 5pm ; This doesn't really cause a problem, it's just extra ;...

For the price that this is offered at it does well, it does take more recourses than what are posted by the company. Does stream, software that comes with it works

The software that comes with it is still version 1 but you can go to the web site and download version 4, it runs a little smoother. Lens are not great, it would be nice if you could get a 3.6 or 2.8 instead of the 6.0
