After using the 50" Plasma from Samsung for almost a month, I've got to say that the 50" is a great size. Even my parents came over and watched some TV on this unit and were impressed - so impressed that they went out and purchased one for themselves....

One slight drawback would be watching dark content in a brightly lit room

Excellent picture. I am so glad I bought this TV, and so glad I stayed away from LCD. The picture quality is better with plasma and the action is absolutely outstanding. I don't know how I ever survived TV/movies/NASCAR without this TV

Not the greatest sound quality, but since I don't use the TV's speakers, that doesn't really matter. Worth noting, I don't think I've heard speakers on ANY flat screen TV that I liked. Maybe I'm just too picky about that

This is Plasma is amazing, ordered it, came here with no dead pixels. The picture is absolutely amazing and crisp. For about 1k w/ free shipping, your getting a 50' Plasma! Just think about it, even a year ago, these TV's were going for 2K+ easily

VERY nice quality. Solid TV, solid stand, not flimsy at all. I like that there are no buttons on the TV itself. The "buttons" are touch-pad buttons. Beautiful picture, especially with everything on HDMI
