Unreliable TV, and horrible service

I wanted a decent quality mid-sized HDTV for as little as $$$ as possible. I was a Philips employee at the time, so after some research the Philips product seemed like an OK bet i figured get an employee discount and help the company. To save a few ...

Good enough picture i guess, when the TV is working.

Product is unreliable, company doesn't stand behind its promises, and service is horrendously bad.

Good picture cannot makeup for poor electronics and service.

Very good picture, specially through HDMI and HD-capable DVD player. Digital tuner also works

Short lifespan ; unacceptable sensitivity to electromagnetic waves, even with Monster surge protector. Poor Service
