Panasonic TH-PH10UK review: Panasonic TH-PH10UK

 

Very good black-level performance and shadow detail; accurate color decoding; independent memory per input; versatile PIP function; extensive picture adjustments with full grayscale controls; removable, customizable inputs; spartan styling.

Inaccurate primary color of green; some false contouring; does not include a stand, a tuner, or speakers; limited to only four total inputs and doesn't include a digital input out of the box; cannot change aspect ratios with HDTV sources.

While still offering excellent all-around picture quality, the "professional" Panasonic TH-50PH10UK plasma TV isn't quite as good a bargain as its "consumer" cousins.

For a budget plasma, the Panasonic Viera TH-P42S10A certainly doesn't perform like one and boasts a significant improvement on last year's models.

Very, very good pictures ; Excellent performance for the money ; Energy efficient (for a plasma)

If you want a full HD cheap panel with good screen size get the panasonic. Great for a 2nd tv. Loving it and my 4 year old does to with his ps3.

True to life color reproduction ; Black detail ; Slim bezel ; Picture adjustment options ; Expandable input options ; and most importantly - IT'S A PANASONIC :)

Not really a con, but keep in mind, if you need the pedestal like I did, it's going to be an extra option costing you a little more
