LG has dabbled with nearly every 3D flavour known to man. The only conspicuous absentee from a list that already includes plasma, direct LED TV and passive LCD is edge LED, something now put right by the 47LX9900.

Nice design, good HD picture and web features

very poor 3d performance, ghosting level is ridiculous

Great TV with all the essestials for today, 3D, Internet Tv, and Freeview HD.

The sockets \ connections are just in the wrong place, they shoud be more accessible from underneath or on the side of the TV, as its slim line TV you can get it flush against wall, but the socket locations prevent that. Thats the only design fault.

Sound benafits from 5.1 sound system but what do you expect you can't shoes horn bigger speackers into the frame.
