There are better large screen plasmas out there, but very few for the price ..

There are better LCD's and Plasma's out there, but the LG 50PC55 offers a level of performance that is hard to beat for the price. An excellent choice for a budget home cinema system.

LG is a brand desperate to improve its image. Having seen chief rival Samsung elevate itself to premium status through consistently good design and adventurous technology, it clearly thinks a copycat strategy will pay dividends

Attractive price, Good looking, Good connections

Awful presets, Standard-def images fail to impress, Average audio

Its the cheapest brand name 42-inch plasma out there, but you'll need to invest in pricey HD sources to get the best from it
