The design of the television is surprisingly sheik

The TV was dead on arrival to my office. I was skeptical about buying it in the first place, and now I know why

The picture was great while it lasted. I was playing my 360 on it and poof out it went. Astar was helpful, yet they neglected to tell me they were going bankrupt

TV died within 5 days of receiving it. As soon as I got my RMA and sent my TV back to Astar, who told me they were going to upgrade me to a newer model no problem, I was never able to get ahold of them again

Decent enough LCD tv with average picture and sound quality. Low price

This company has had its assets frozen and rebate checks they have issued are bouncing. Mine did. This company is basically out of business so don't count on ANY customer service... even if your set arrives DOA

Nice quality picture, nice looking cabinet and design, includes wall mount

No-name company that has gone out of business (meaning no rebate checks for anyone). Wretched remote control. Bootup speed isn't bad but the light doesn't go green right away and you have no idea if you've actually turned it on

Ok, this is a really nice set for the price I purchased it at. Has all the features of more expensive sets, and it has a very nice picture

There are some quirks with it. The remote is horrible. The menu navigation and options could have been laid out better, and functioned more like other sets. The speakers should have been left off, they are terrible

I purshased Astar 27" LCD. Works well after about 5 months. No problems so far

Rebate check bounced due to account closed. Astar must be in Chapter 11

TV power supply burned up the day after I received it. Astar Cust service will not return calls, must keep calling until you reach a live person. Gave me local on-site service companies number, they have had it 1 week and are waiting for Astar tech...

EVERYTHING it was a defect from the box...i had to deal with the company and i have never had to go through the stuff that they put me through. first they would not return my calls because u have to leave ur name and number and whats wrong yeah never...

Very cheap and nice looking

VGA port stopped working after only 3 days in use. Called ASTAR, they claim that Phillips is taking legal action against them. ASTAR has filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and told me they cannot help me
