All in all though, the Russell Hobbs 18140 is a pretty good model. It might not be fancy and there are a few niggles, but in terms of toasting quality it’s absolutely fine. It’s easy to use, looks nice and creates tasty, well toasted toast.

Easy to use Good design

Great toast made quickly. My husband likes his pale and I like mine toasted well, so having the two separate dials means we can leave them on those settings and use our "own toaster"

Crumpets get glued in for some reason. Not worked out why! Quite large so if you don't have a lot of kitchen space then not for you.

Quick to toast. Bagel setting and reheat setting are brilliant features.

None found so far.

Too big, it seems most 4 slice toasters are at the moment, bring back the good quality long slim ones please
