This was a great present for a 13 year old! Boys are hard to give nice gifts to and I knew he didn't have this so I gave it a try! It was very well received and it worked wonderful! And he's even using it as a portable boombox! Great sound!

I thought it would atleast hold the ipod in there better, it just sits and is very poorly held. In the description they could also tell you that it needs batteries, and that it plugs into your headphone jack on the ipod. The picture shows it like it...

we hooked it up and they sounded horrible. My 9 yearl old was heartbroken -- it was her first purchase with her own money. Even she said it was a waste of money.

When you give people gifts and it's not your daughter or son's gift then it has go to be cheap right the person I am giving this gift to wants an alarm clock that she can plug her ipod into but this is not an alarm clock.
