At $44.99, the Z400s is a very low-cost SSD. It's at least five times faster than a hard drive with random data and has consistent sequential performance under light workloads

The Z400s is also much smaller than a hard drive. Performance isn't everything, unless it's either a lot of performance or a lot of capacity

Low price. I only need this for a network gateway running pfSense, which uses FreeBSD and doesn't require much in the way of performance from a drive. This fits the bill. Has threaded metal fastener holes on sides and bottom.

None, really, other than for a drive at this price, expectations shouldn't be too high, although if purchasing as an upgrade from HDD, it should provide a noticeable improvement in performance, though another $10-15 might get yet a better drive.

I have purchased several of these SSD's for my company and for personal use. They all have issues with freezing or disk utilization in the sense that they constantly peg out on Read/Write speeds. This could be alright if SanDisk had decent support or...

I bought 6 of those drives from Newegg late 2015. One of the computer stopped booting. The drive would cause machines to bluescreen when connected as secondary drive. I cant get an RMA number because SanDisk want a screen capture for the boot error...

It only benchmarks OK. CrystalDiskMark 5.0.2 (x64) reported sequential reads of 401.3 MB/s (far shy of the stated 546 MB/s maximum) and 184.2 MB/s on sequential writes (again, a far cry from the stated 342 MB/s maximum). I wonder if this isn't because...

write speeds are a little slower than some drives about 20 dollars more, but at this price point; this is much more bang for the buck.
