I got this just for the Slide/Negative scanning ability. For the most part it does it well. I've been able to scan lots of negatives in at 3200 dpi

easy to use. even my parents in their 60's can use it. scans negatives and phots very well. comes with photostudio editing software which is easy to use.

Excellent transfer of colour prints to PC. Good reproduction of documents.

copying negatives: a bit fiddly to set up negs in correct position on glass.

High definition and good speed

Excellent Scanner. Easy to set up. Lots of features. Especially the film scanning features. I was also impressed at the speed when just doing normal scanning. Overall, very impressed.

Didn't really find any bad points. Long software install I guess (lots of different programs). The film scanning adaptors can be a little finicky. Nothing really.

Goos quality document scans. More fiddly to scan 35mm slides/negatives.
