good printer, terrible software pt. 2

This is an edit of my previous review. To clarify, the software installation download is 180MB, the minimum installation size is 585MB. Also, I found that there is a way to install the software without the Bing toolbar.

Battery powered

Software is over 585MB if you want everything to work. Bing toolbar and other unnecessary HP software installs by default but if you look carefully, you can find the menu to customize the installation

Software is over 585MB if you want everything to work. Bing toolbar and other unnecessary HP software installs by default but if you look carefully, you can find the menu to customize the installation.

I didn't buy this, I'm just installing it for a friend. I will not buy HP printers because of the bloated software required.

Software is 180MB and installs a custom HP Bing toolbar. There is no option to skip the Bing toolbar installation. You can download a basic driver from HP but then some of the functions do not work
