Attractive design, great audio quality, lots of features, microSD expansion slot

No gapless playback, screen not great quality

The Sandisk Sansa Fuze is another solid entry into the flash-based media player market. It has a nice array of features and delivers excellent audio, although the lack of gapless playback was annoying at times.

Format support is limited to MPEG-4 files at native screen resolution too - a far cry from the excellent video support of the View, which supports WMV and MPEG-4 files at more than the native resolution of the screen (640 x 320). However, SanDisk does...

Very reasonable price for capacity, performance. User interface features good-looking animated graphics. FM radio recording and voice recording. MicroSD slot for swappable content.

Slow reaction time from touch pad. Occasionally, controls don't respond to touch. Navigation can be tedious.

Solid, with a smart finish ; clean interface ; decent sound ; expansive storage

Headphones aren’t much cop ; lacks a little punch and weight

The Sansa Fuze isn't particularly innovativeit's just another simple, yet solid portable media player from SanDisk. We just wish it had more robust file support.
