I gave this 3/5 (average) because I thought it was just that: average. A decent deal for the price, but nothing amazing. Might be better off with the Acer AL1715smd-8 (which I've used and found to be a tad better in terms of quality...)

Good picture quality and no dead pixels! Only reason not 5 stars is that is kept getting out of adjustment and putting a huge black bar down the center of the screen but the auto adjust corrected it quickly, just a little annoying but now it seems fine.

I received this monitor yesterday and all I can say is DAYUM! No dead pixels, refreshes like a dream and no problems hooking it up. I'm using a gig ram, 3000+ 64bit, LanPart Ultra-D and a GeForce 6600GT and looks way better than my old Dell 19" CRT....
