Great monitor with great stand!
We have bought several of these monitors and so far have had no issues.
The adjustable stand is very sturdy and well designed. Image quality is excellent for our application.

This monitor was never meant to be fully functional.
Stuck with a $200 loss due to lack of original packaging. Please make sure NOT to order this monitor unless you want every dark image in the lower left corner to be muddled. Newegg and NEC aren't warning you, so I am.
Read previous reviews.
This monitor is meant to be this way according to NEC. You have to buy a pro model just to see black evenly across your screen. Beware. This is NOT minor back light bleed. Do not waste money on this thing. Go buy some cheap Acer or something instead.

Second one is crud too.
Buy some other monitor. This one would be great but the back light washes out any dark images.
Sharp image maybe
The second one has the same back light issue as the first one in the same exact place as the first one ; This is a manufacturing problem, not a shipping damage problem

Backlight RUINS great monitor
Why do companies always have to ruin things? All they had to do it put in a proper back light. Why is that so hard?
Great stand. Great everything, BUT
AWFUL BACK LIGHT. The lower left corner almost completely washes out in dark scenes. It makes that corner look faded.
