Great display ; Solid everyday speed ; Sleek, good-looking body ; Quiet, comfortable keyboard

No HDMI or Thunderbolt ; i7 is too expensive ; Rivals are slimmer and sturdier ; Disappointing trackpad

The HP Envy 13 has a great screen, solid components and a good keyboard. Combine this with lower price of the Core i5 model and you've got a decent everyday ultraportable. But several rivals are better in other areas when you hit the higher specs.

The touch screen and way you can position the screen is brilliantly designed. Also for such a small compact size the overall power of it is brilliant as I run heavy end photography software and it doesn't struggle at all!

Possibly the weight, its surprisingly heavy, this could be to bulk up and make it more rugged but still.
