Bought for the receiver. Front headphone port disables amps automatically. It works (mostly)

After a few months a speaker developed a rattle and tinny noise. Overall the speakers are a bonus for when your in a bind but replace ASAP, the sub is great

Great sound and works great with Blue Ray DVD player and Directv. My old unit was still working but needed to upgrade and for the price I couldn't resist. My Mancave is only a 10 by10ft room so really didn't need a high dollar system

Easy setup. Excellent sound. PS3 sounds great. Movies and television sound great. Excellent price. I thought about other sound systems (Sony, Onkyo) but I took a chance on this system. I definitely recommend this Home Theater System

The full operators manual is on a CD making setup a readup and go situation ; It comes with 100 feet of speaker wire that's a little difficult to keep polarity with since one lead is only slightly lighter than the other on one side at that

The included sub produce noise during some high-volume situations (certain explosions in movies for example). I believe it is a design flaw, as I own two of these systems. Since it can be noticed only at very few occasions, I wouldnt take egg for it
