I SEARCHED A LONG TIME FOR THE RIGHT GPS/SONAR ELECTRONICS. THE 383C IS THE BEST I FOUND ALL AROUND. THE PRICE IS RIGHT, IT IS EASY TO INSTALL, AND THE NAVIGATION/SONAR IS TOP OF THE LINE. THE GPS OFFERS GREAT DEFINITION ON SALT MARSHES AND CREEKS...

This was easy to use right out of the box. Reading the instructions helped me with some of the more esoteric functions. The screen could be a bit bigger, but my budget limited me to this screen size. In all, I really like it.
