My unit has worked pretty well since purchasing in December 2006. The mapping software loaded at the time was Navtec 2005.

The NVX226 has a known software problem that requires the buyer to return the unit upon purchase. It doesn't recognize the state of Louisiana. They only have one technician that is able to work on the units. It took 3 weeks for my unit to be returned...

I recently purchased this at Electronics Expo. I could not be more pleased with it's features and operation. It contains virtually all named streets and 1.6 million points of interest.
