Very satisfied with unit until compressor quit 2 years almost to the day of installing. Received quote to repair and was going to cost almost as much as new unit.

Bought the Avant WCR5450DZ in March 2013; by May 2014 it had failed to cool, tho fan and lights kept going. Looked quality so did not buy extended warranty.. How can any manufacturer put out a product which fails in 15 months? Have left a voicemail...
