Samsung DVD-N501 DVD Player Review

There are a host of DVD players on the consumer market to choose from these days. What causes the DVD-N501 to stand out is the inclusion of a Nuon chip.

All in all, this is a rather cool little DVD-player with a lot of hidden extras under the hood. The only lacking point we could really see was the slightly awkward control for navigating through the onscreen menus - but that is really a minor point

Worthwhile just for playing MP3s

My main reason for picking this player was its ability to play MP3s. In fact, I haven't even tried out a real DVD yet. In this review, I'll concentrate just on the music capabilities.

Has NUON capability, Slow motion play forward and reverse, on screen displays for mp3.

Layer change is obvious, Audio becomes off-sync during movie, limited buttons on the front panel.
