We originally wanted another built-in washing machine and not a stand alone one. However, it has had no detrimental effect to the kitchen. It looks very chic and being in white is extremely acceptable. The pots and cutlery come out sparkling.

It is quite noisy for the first part of the wash, if we shut the kitchen door we cannot hear it. There are some knives and forks that are too big for the cutlery basket and we have to lie them in the top of the washer.
