Well worth the money

Put a 10 cent LED display in the case for hard drive activity. The 'on' button IS cheaply executed.

Couldn't have purchased the parts to build this for what the sales price INCLUDING rebate (which I eceived) amounted to. Now two years old and continuing to work flawlessly ; All the brouhaha about the plastic "on" button is puzzling. Mine works fine...

Really a cheap enclosure, but this has no effect on its serviceability. I wish ASUS hadn't cheaped out to the point of failing to furnish a front mounted LED to indicate hard drive activity. THAT is getting CHEAP

Windows 8 runs much slower on this machine that windows 7 ; Couldn't get a blue ray player to install. Tried internal,external, and many brands. Wouldn't playback without errors ; finally the machine froze up and just stopped working. Couldn't get it...

It takes a lickin and keeps on tickin

I had previously gotten an 8 core Asus tower PC, which I've tested ripping DVD's, and still only hit 15 - 30-% CPU. Which is why I tried another, and I would again, not too many reputatble low cost players left.

PRICE and POWER ; I've been in the PC game for, well, longer than anyone would like to admit. With what I've seen, including LCD's dropped from waist high and surviving, I'd have to guess UPS dropped the box from about 10 feet or so in order to bend in...

Packaging not up to UPS handling ; Should be an option to double box for a fee, though, I'm sure UPS's ham handed handlers could defeat any packaging ; Keyboards are grey lettering on black, can't hardly read, so, buy you're own
