Can have many devices on this C51 network. Colour display, can use the camera to set a backdrop.

Not as good as the B&W handset. VERY slow menu system. Range isn't as good as 2.4 Ghz phone and not as good as a 900 Mhz phone by far, because of the high frequency. The higher frequency makes the voice quality better though.

It has nice flashy lights and some features you'd only see on cell phones (like 30-40 ringtones, etc)

I maxed out the volume and with just a little background noise I can barely hear the person on the other end of the line. It dims the volume whenever anything is spoken into the speaker so I have to wait till the other person finishes their piece...

For the price the Egg lets these go for, there really is no reason to get the SD7501 (standard) handset when expanding or setting up your phone system. If you decide to get the SD7504 camera later, you're all set up for maximum functionality. If using...
