DO BUY THIS ITEM IT DOES WORK
Assume that it's been sitting on its side while it was shipped to you, and leave it sitting upright for a day before turning it on. And read the directions.
Blows air. Air cold. Cold good ; My apartment is around 650 sq feet, and it cools my entire apartment very well
The slot that blocks the window is only about 38" or so, and my windows are taller than that. It's not really a problem for me to have a few square inches of open window but I guess some people might have a problem with that ; It's also kind of loud...

worst product, buy be aware
Buy from local store and check location of service center.
portable
rotary compressor started making knocking noice after 10 minutes. DeLonghi doesn't have service centre in MA. I will have to drive to Connecticut to drop off the unit and pick up the other day. The $200 saved is not enough to pay for the rental car...

Nice AC at a high price
There mus be other ones out there that are cheaper and quiter.
It is powerful and works well. We bought a heater and decide to get this brand
The packing was horrible. One of the wheels broke so I cannot wheel it from room to room without carrying it. It's too loud even with sleep mode

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM IT DOES NOT WORK
Pay a few extra dollars and buy it local from a hardware store so you know it isn't damaged from poor shipping.
I cannot say anything good about this air conditioner as it does not work
They do not pack them properly and we ordered two units, both were damaged and DO NOT work. Only one would even power on and when the compressor turns it almost knocks the unit over from the misbalance inside of it. Has an extremely loud knocking...

Good unit for the price

No match for the heat wave
This looks good and is convenient to install. However, my 12,500 BTU model failed to cool down even a 250 sq ft room despite of its claim of 460 sq ft.

no good in desert areas
well... i live in imperial valley... not sure if maybe that's why... we get temp. usually at 100-120*F so yeah... but this unit was absolutely NO GOOD for our area... going to return it... gave it a try... for over a month... and NOPE... no good......

Very Effective Unit
We use this cooler in our upstairs Master bedroom and it is very effective in our dry climate. When left on for an hour before going to bed and with the door shut...it will drop the room tempature from 78 degrees to 67-68 degrees.
small and efficient, easy to setup
