If you currently own a GO 720, then there is no real reason to upgrade, as most of the improvements are software upgrades. If you are looking for a high-end GPS with all of the latest features though, the GO 930 is excellent, if a little overpriced.

So are the additions worth the extra cash? For now, I'd have to say - surprisingly - no. The new x30 range undoubtedly maintains the 720's position as king of in-car sat-navs, with its improved route-finding abilities and lane assistance. But the...

All of those extras are nice, but they pale in comparison to the stellar IQ Routes technology. First and foremost, a GPS should get you where you want to go--and get you there quickly. The TomTom GO 930 succeeds at doing just that
