It does still work, and it makes bread crumbs for the Xmas turkey a lot faster than can be done by hand

Mainly its noisiness and its tendency to rattle & vibrate a lot, and the fact that the small bowl doesn't function

Works on a good variety of foods, easy clean, good price.

Now realise the bowl and lid are made of BHP containing material. Would prefer something NOT made from that.

From all the reviews here and elsewhere it seemed to be the best choice for my needs.

Obviously no longer available in Australia.(Oct 09 ) Even onsite sources either say "no longer available" or the page is no longer in existance.. Googling comes up with zilch..
