As I expected, the FX510XT is a monster gaming system. It runs all of our game tests at 60 frames per second (the benchmark for smooth gameplay) or faster, even at the highest (2,560-by-1,600) resolution. The FX510XT doesn't quite win the frame rate...

Good bang for buck in the $4$5G club. Great performance for a stock-clocked system. Core 2 Extreme power. Relatively quiet (after start-up). 1TB of drive space. TV tuner. Vista-ready

Plain-Jane chassis. Still expensive. 30-inch LCD panel not available from Gateway

The Gateway FX510XT is like an unmarked police car. It looks like a pedestrian tower PC that's nothing special, but once it hits the game grid, it's a force to be reckoned with.
