This is a good package

I'm hoping that Acer will redeem itself from some previous bad experiences. Seems like they are making a comeback.

The previous post did not notice that the AST160-US322H actually does have a firewire port, located in the rear panel of the box. This is a well-rounded box for the price, with excellent upgrade potential, as stated by the first post

No S-video or Composite output, unfortunately

nice.

I find the fact that the HD is divided into FAT32 and NFTS a bit confusing. I never seen a computer with the HD slipt up in to two like this before.

Quite nice, lots of upgrade potential. Good value and price

Not Bad Computer

This computer is suprisingly good. It's not going to blow you away, but it runs Adobe Photoshop cabably. It came with a year subsription to NAV 2005. The 9-1 multi-format card reader is a nice bonus.

Great for entry level computer. 9-1 card reader. Vista Capable sticker. Runs quiet. Fast hard drive

No monitor. No Fire Wire

Highly recommend this computer for either starter or advanced applications. NewEgg is consistently tops on price, delivery, communications, and support.

Flawless out of the box, computer has good, current spec at a very competitive price

Including speakers would be helpful

Great System

Overall I really like this system. Very fast for the price, easy to upgrade memory if needed. Great for office use.

SATA Seagate Hard drive. 512mb dimm in one socket - three empty. Not junked up with tons of demo software to uninstall. Overall a fairly quiet system. LG dvd burner. Optical mouse

200gb hard drive partitioned into (2) 100gb partitions. No original disc's, must burn your own, however this is popular amoung many of the manufacturers. No case fans, although this helps make it quiet
