I have had this coffee maker for about 5 months. I have had no problems making the coffe at all. No boil ups or volcanic reactions like I read in some reviews. I took out the plastic filter and bought a Cory Glass fileter to replace plastic fileter....

Nice to see the Santos around again after all these years. We bought our first Santos at Macy's back in the late 80's/early 90's, and enjoyed it so much we purchased 5 over several years. Coffee made in the Santos tasted great, and was entertaining...
