Huawei Ascend Y (U.S. Cellular)

The Huawei Ascend Y for U.S. Cellular has an attractive price, but you can get a much better phone for not much more.

Inexpensive. Comfortable to hold and use. Good call quality.

Extremely outdated version of Android. Slow performance. Low-res display. Poor camera.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The Ascend Y has 140MB of free internal memory, as well as a 2GB microSD card preinstalled in the slot underneath the battery. My 32GB and 64GB SanDisk cards worked fine as well. There's a standard 3.5mm headphone...

Not bad for a CHEAP phone

I agree, it is underpowered. The camera is not fantastic either. BUT it will get the job done if you need a cheap phone to check email, browse the web, etc. I actually use the darn thing as a modem for my computer and have found that the phone actually...

basic smartphone functions for a minimal price!

Can be glitchy, lacks sufficent storage to install a bunch of apps. Sub-par camera functionality.
