Sony DCR-HC65 Handycam

The Sony DCR-HC65 is a solid choice for intermediate videographers, but we've seen better, especially when it comes to shooting scenes with action.

Huge 3.5-inch LCD. Manual focus ring around lens. Headphone jack for monitoring audio.

No audio gain. High-action video and still-image quality were subpar.
